A Wireless monitoring device to detect cardiac arrest and alert the caretakers
If somebody has a bad heart, they can plug this jack in at night as they go to bed and it will monitor their heart at night.
A device capable of recording heart rate, breathing rate, gestures and temperature of an individual wirelessly.
Device can detect Heart and Breathing rate of a sleeping person from upto 5 feet and 85% accuracy.
The device is equipeed with a thermal camera to measure any changes in temperature
Using a combination of LIDAR and machine learning we aim to identify gestures and motions.
The data collected is personalized for each individual by first establishing a baseline for a person’s normal/avg heart rate.
We use mmwaves i.e. electromagnetic waves of order 65Ghz frequency. They rebound from the human body and we are able to detect the minute distance the body moves during heart beat and breathing.
The LIDAR sensor in the device continuously maps the user in 3d and tried to detect any motion. Any abrupt motion along with abnormality in heart rate and/or breathing rate will cause an alert
The data collected is personalized for each individual and adjusted for their own heart rate pattern. This will help in reducing false positives and negatives.
